Dear Miss P,

I think Charlie(Miss P´s dog) should come into the classroom.Firstly he will lower your stress levels, secondly he will make your day better if you aren't feeling good, finally they will keep you active.\

Firstly,he will lower your stress levels .Pating dogs can lower people's stress levels by a lot.Dogs send out a stress reducing hormone called Oxycontin. Studies have shown lowering your stress levels by a dog can also benefit physical health.

Secondly, he will make your day better if you aren't feeling good. You have just had an argument with your mum and brother you are late to school. Yes I have had a few of these but when you come into class there is a dog that will make your day better.

Finally, they will keep you active.A dog needs walks, the dog will want walks and it will need someone to go with him so the person will keep healthy by walking the dog.

In conclusion, he will lower stress levels in  people, he will make your day better if you aren't feeling good,  they will keep you active.

Yours sincerely,

Joel Clyne

children should have a pet

 Children should have a pet

I think children should have a pet. They teach you life lessons in how to look after something, they keep you calm when feeling sad or mad,

having a pet will help if you are lonely.

Firstly, they  teach life lessons, for example I shut the gate so the cows and the horses don't get out on the road. This teaches me responsibility.

Secondly, they keep you calm when you're sad or mad.
When I feel sad about school my dog will give me a hug.
He is always there to help me.

Finally, they help when you're lonely.
When I felt lonely my dog came and sat with me. I love him and he loves me and I know I'll never be alone.

In conclusion they teach life lessons, they keep you calm when I am feeling sad or mad, having a pet will help if you are lonely.
Thank you for listening.
